Licenses and Regulatory Framework
Summa Rekstrarfélag hf. is licensed by the Financial Supervisory Authority of the Central Bank of Iceland to operate as a manager of alternative investment funds, pursuant to Articles 9(1) and 9(2) of Act No. 45/2020 on Alternative Investment Funds Managers. The company also holds additional licenses for portfolio management and investment advisory services in accordance with Article 9(3), items 1 and 2, of the same Act.
Summa is wholly owned by its employees, who collectively bring decades of experience in asset management and the financial sector—ensuring full independence from external market participants.
